I just wanted to drop you a short note to say THANKS for all that you did for my team! We’re planning AAR’s into our weekly meetings and I’m running one tomorrow. Also, I’m starting a BIG university project in a couple of weeks and have one scheduled at the end of every work week for the American teachers that I’m bringing in! I really feel that this is helping us as we had the tendency to be stagnant once in a while and this is a good way to keep moving!
(Follow on post): We’re regularly using AAR’s, and last week I trained two (locals) from the Center on how to facilitate them with the classes that we run there! WE LOVE THEM!! Looking back at life without AAR’s seems like we were just “treading water” as a way to put it – staying afloat but making no forward progress! NOW, things are going forward so fast, it’s hard to keep up! THANKS!! Keep in touch!

We have used the AAR tool several times with our team here in the international office since the training… I used the tri-fold brochure and the made up business cards like the back of yours with the main steps of AAR on them. [Our leaders] liked having the practical materials to take away with them. [They] liked the focus on process rather than people and who failed. I tried to highlight that if an individual dropped the ball so to speak it was everyone on the team’s responsibility to help find a better process next time. All in all we really appreciate your efforts to promote and train for AAR and make the materials available to us.

Thank you so much for taking the time you took with us and the great input you have invested. If we can see more of your teams using simple tools and processes like this I believe we would see a significant growth in our effectiveness as an organisation. We would love to have you back again in the future with a larger and broader group.
